Prior to joining Mixon and Associates, Brandi worked with the Florida Department of Agriculture & Consumer Services “Division of Marketing” for 13 years. From Food Distribution, where she oversaw the ordering USDA commodities for the Florida School’s, to overseeing Emergency Feeding Assistance Programs – Brandi was part of multiple bureaus in the Department.

For the past six years, Brandi was the Executive Assistant to the Director of Marketing and his Budget Assistant. She was responsible for the Division’s Accounting, Purchasing, & Budgeting. She oversaw all Expenditures & Budget issues and was responsible for many other projects including the Davis Productivity Award.

Brandi volunteered for 11 years with the State Emergency Response Team (SERT) making sure Food, Water and Ice went to the impacted areas. She also worked for the Bureau in Licensing Dealers in Agricultural Products.

Therefore, she is very familiar with the Agricultural Industry, Florida School System's, and she has some experience in Health Care as she worked as a Certified Nurses Aide.

Brandi was born and raised in the small farming town of Delta, Utah.

After graduating from High School in 1994, she worked in Banking for a short time then completed the Certified Nursing Aide Program. In 1996 she moved to Florida.

Brandi has 2-yellow Labradors she lovingly refers to as  “Her Boys – Bo & Tig.”  She enjoys the beach, travel, boating, scrap-booking, reading and the outdoors. She considers herself an honest and down to Earth person.
